It is now April of 2009 and there are still no jobs. The white house
clowns in their typical fashion have wasted trillions of dollars on
condiments but where is the beef?
General
Motors and Chrysler are using our bailout money to downsize. I thought
that is what got us into trouble in the first place.
The aerospace
industry has all but dried up waiting for the government to tell them
what programs they are going to keep and what programs they plan to
scrap (F22). Why is their no urgency in congress to spark these
industries?
Through all of this economic reform there
are no new technical jobs. Designers and engineers are still being laid
off by the 1,000's.
The democrats continue to raise specialty
taxes on cigarettes and liquor. It is now cheaper to smoke illegal
marijuana from Mexico than to smoke Marlboros grown in South Carolina.
Car products are being imported from Mexico by
the millions. Just 15 years ago you could not put these products in
American cars.
There is one simple solution to our woes. Create technical jobs. How
do we do it? Build new infrastructure somewhere in America's
heartland. How about a 200 story pyramid in Nebraska? Crazy you say?
Think of the engineering, construction, real jobs, tourist industry,
housing, utilities. Everyone wins.
How about a domed city on the moon? Sounds crazy right? Think of the
millions of technical jobs it would create. Who cares if it takes 20
years to build. Think of what we will have when it is done.
How about that new World Trade Center? The rag heads are laughing at
us.
America has always had money to build phenomenal things like the
interstate highway system. How about the Hoover dam? Our government
spends trillions of tax dollars annually without doing anything new.
They can't even fix potholes. The biggest new thing they ever come
up with is a bunch of stadiums for the Olympics.
Until the government makes a big splash in something new, things
will continue to deteriorate. Healthy banks with a bunch of poverty
stricken citizens are not the answer. Everyone working for McDonalds.
Starbucks and WalMart is no solution.
Think the stock market is about to recover? Guess again. Quit investing in GM, Delphi, Chrysler, Ford. Let them fail.
Why should we subsidize their retirement accounts. All of the big
money is going to severance packages of their senior level
personnel. Everyone from engineers on down is still getting screwed
out of their benefits and severance. Any idiot knows if they want to
sell cars they need to sell 300HP Camaros, Firebirds, Oldsmobiles,
Road Runners, Challengers and such that get 30+ miles per gallon. Not for 80K but for $15,000.00.
These programs were killed on purpose to get rid of the low cost
cars (want us to buy Cadillacs, Corvettes and Vipers) and also to
get rid of the unions (not
a bad thing).
You see I worked for GM. I once needed a small round
table moved from one office area to another by the union maintenance
people. The table weighed about 10 pounds and had to move 100 feet.
Maintenance told me it would be 8 months before they could move it.
They wanted me to fill out forms in triplicate and get them signed
by my supervisor. The next day I walked through the cafeteria at
1:30 PM and the entire maintenance department was in the cafeteria
playing a card game, Sheepshead. I was pretty ticked off so I moved
my table myself. The next day I had 15 guys from maintenance in my
area complaining about me taking away their work. They filed a
grievance against me. Corporate America sucks. The unions suck. Kill
these dead weight auto companies and build that moon dome. Quit
investing in these screwed up companies.
Wake up America. It doesn't matter whether you are a democrat or a
republican. The people in charge of both parties have no vision. The
two party puppets they let you choose from have no clue. They have
been purchased by the corporate machine. Their goal is two have to
parties with half of the people on each side of the fence. This
prevents unity and keeps the status quo.
Did you know that China has built 14 cities over ten million people
(from scratch) in the last 7 years. They have new cities larger than
New York City that you have never even heard the names of. They are
building them with our concrete and steel for rock bottom prices and
using illegal US software to design them.
Did you know that Halliburton is taking the billions of dollars the
government gave them to rebuild Iraq and they are using it to build
skyscrapers in Dubai? Ask Tiger Woods, he has a new home there. Of
the thousands of new schools, bridges, etc. they were to rebuild in
Iraq, they have completed like 1 out of 100 schools they started on.
The current plan to save our economy will continue to force small
business closures so the big dogs can be even stronger. In another 6
months most every mom and pop tool shop in America will be bankrupt.
Most are teetering on the cliff right now.
Suicides, mass shootings, theft and such will rise dramatically as
poverty continues to befall America. Have you noticed the recent run
on guns?
Very soon the phrase from the movie Network will bear much more
meaning, "I am mad as hell and not going to take it anymore!" Go
ahead and scream it out the window. It might help for a little bit.
